CAU’s present 6-year graduation rate stands at 42%, exceeding the national HBCU average of 35%. However, our ambition at Clark Atlanta University is to reach even higher standards.
In this academic year, Clark Atlanta allocated over $5.6 million for access scholarships and gap funding to aid about 4,000 students, supplementing donor-funded scholarships.
While 97% of CAU undergraduates receive financial assistance through scholarships, Pell grants, and federal loans, bridging the financial gap remains the top challenge despite family support and employment.
