Welcome to the Clark Atlanta University School of Business!

In the 2021-22 academic year, CAUSB celebrated its 75th Anniversary through a year-long "Reflecting Forward" celebration. We organized diverse activities aligned with our goals: honoring our past, elevating our present, and envisioning our future.

With over 10,000 business administration and 3,000 MBA graduates, our alumni excel in corporate, educational, entrepreneurial, and public service fields. We aim to build upon this legacy.

For seven decades, our School of Business has offered top-notch education, attracting students from 40+ states and 30+ countries, boasting one of the largest pools of African American business students.

Academic Programs

On Friday, September 15th, students from the Clark Atlanta University MBA program won the highly competitive business case competition held at the National Black MBA Association Case Competition.  During the competition, students solve a challenging business case and compete for $50,000 in scholarships. This year, 20 top MBA programs competed.  The CAU team earned their way to the finals to compete against Vanderbilt, Auburn, Morgan State University, and Rutgers.  The CAU team took 1st place, Vanderbilt was 2nd place, and Auburn earned 3rd place. 

The CAUSB MBA is ranked # 9 on the best MBA programs in Georgia. Georgia is home to many stellar MBA degree programs. These programs represent many different approaches to business education with one to suit nearly any student. 

Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business was recently selected as the 2023 National Black MBA Association’s (NBMBAA) Collegiate Partner of the Year. This award is given yearly to higher-education institutions that provide exemplary academic efforts to increase awareness and opportunities for business administration students and members.  The award was presented at the NBMBAA Conference in Philadelphia on September 16, 2023.

Mandela Washington Fellowship

The Mandela Washington Fellowship, a cornerstone of President Barack Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), empowers young African leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, mentoring, networking, professional opportunities, and community support. It targets accomplished Sub-Saharan African leaders fostering innovation and positive change.
