Through your generous support, CAU can ensure that every admitted student who wishes to attend the university has the financial means to do so. When you contribute to support CAU students, you not only widen the gates of access and affordability but also generate new and stimulating learning prospects while nurturing personal development. Ultimately, your contribution transforms lives and contributes to making the world a better place.
“For the institutions that made it possible for me, the people, the mentors who worked with me. Those with portfolios and those who people didn’t know. And so I have to do that for others.”
Thomas W. Dortch, Jr. AU’86
Trustee Clark Atlanta University
CAU’s present 6-year graduation rate stands at 42%, exceeding the national HBCU average of 35%. However, our ambition at Clark Atlanta University is to reach even higher standards.
In this academic year, Clark Atlanta allocated over $5.6 million for access scholarships and gap funding to aid about 4,000 students, supplementing donor-funded scholarships.
While 97% of CAU undergraduates receive financial assistance through scholarships, Pell grants, and federal loans, bridging the financial gap remains the top challenge despite family support and employment.
CAU President George T. French Jr., Ph.D., introduced The Campaign for Clark Atlanta University with the aim of broadening support and enhancing opportunities for students. Your contribution allows you to actively participate in this initiative and leave a lasting mark on a student’s life.
The CAU Scholars program is crafted for students in need of financial assistance, connecting them to the university’s wealth of resources to ensure they graduate within four years.
CAU’s foremost mission is to equip students for outstanding achievements. This mission starts with the collaboration of donors like yourself who generously sponsor scholarships, enabling exceptional students to join our community and undergo life-changing transformations in the process.
Your interest in supporting our university is greatly valued. We are eager to share comprehensive information regarding available partnership opportunities. Don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
