Our prestigious institution is the result of the merger between Atlanta University and Clark College, both of which hold significant roles in African-American history. Atlanta University, founded in 1865, made history as the first institution to grant graduate degrees to African-Americans. 2023 marks the 35th anniversary of our merger, and we are excitedly anticipating the promising future of our Panther pride.
